Senior Occupational Therapist

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Occupational Therapist to join our team in a private mental health hospital based in the West Sussex area.
This specialist hospital provides care for individuals with mental illnesses and/or personality disorders, offering a range of services including male acute care, high dependency units, and a female low secure unit.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the Occupational Therapy Service, leading on the planning and delivery of therapeutic patient activity programs, and providing clinical support and supervision to the occupational therapy team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating the effective operation of the Occupational Therapy Service
- Leading on the planning and delivery of multi-disciplinary therapeutic patient activity programs
- Providing clinical support and professional supervision to the occupational therapy team
- Maintaining a clinical case load
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience of working in mental health, ideally within an inpatient setting, and will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
