Reliability Maintenance Engineering at Amazon

The Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team at Amazon plays a vital role in our operations, ensuring that our equipment runs smoothly and efficiently. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment across our global network of fulfillment centers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment
  • Uphold all health and safety policies and practices
  • Work on continuous improvement projects and roll out best practices across a range of EU sites

Our RME team works together to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, handling most aspects of Amazon's technical side. This includes installing automated packaging systems, overseeing general maintenance, and repairing key distribution equipment. We often work during early or late hours to carry out maintenance with minimal disruption, including night shifts.

Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 (or international equivalent) in an engineering discipline or another practical engineering qualification
  • Relevant experience working in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance
  • Advanced proficiency in the local language verbally and in writing
  • Experience in condition-based monitoring
  • Experience working with print and apply machines
