Curriculum Developer

Anzuk Education Ltd, a renowned educational services provider, seeks an exceptional Science Teacher to join their team on a maternity cover basis. This exciting opportunity will see the successful candidate deliver a pre-designed curriculum, ideally focusing on Biology, but also considering Chemistry and Physics.

The role requires teaching the current Science curriculum across Key Stages 3 to 5, differentiating instruction to meet the diverse needs of students. A key aspect of this position is making Science engaging and interactive to foster student curiosity.

Collaboration with other department members is essential to share best practices and drive academic excellence. The teacher will be responsible for following the school's behaviour management system to create a positive and productive learning environment.

To succeed in this role, candidates must hold a UK-recognised teaching qualification, preferably with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). They should be confident in teaching Science at KS3, KS4, and KS5 levels, with a strong preference for Biology but also considering Chemistry and Physics.

A minimum of one year's experience as a qualified teacher is required, and Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) or Experienced Classroom Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential, along with the ability to reflect, be inquisitive, personable, and creative in lesson planning.
