About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Clinical Psychologist to join our team at North Middlesex University Hospital (NMUH) in our Psycho-Oncology Department. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team and make a real difference in the lives of patients with cancer.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing specialist psychological assessments and interventions to clients across Cardiology services. You will also offer advice, supervision, training, and consultation on clients' psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues.

The ideal candidate will have a doctoral level qualification in clinical or counselling psychology and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. A salary of £65,000 - £85,000 per annum is available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
  • To assess clients' mental health needs and develop individualised treatment plans.
  • To provide specialist psychological interventions, such as cognitive-behavioural therapy, to clients.
  • To work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care for clients.
  • To maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress.

The successful candidate will have experience working in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and community organisations. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure.
