Job Title: Mobile Service Engineer

At Nationwide Platforms, we are seeking a skilled Mobile Service Engineer to join our team. As a Mobile Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and inspection of our powered access equipment to ensure it is in excellent working condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine service and maintenance on all equipment and products.
  • Carry out fault-finding, servicing, repairs, and maintenance of powered access equipment.
  • Complete all relevant supporting paperwork in line with company procedures.
  • Refurbish equipment and products as necessary.
  • Promote teamwork between colleagues to ensure delivery of an effective workshop performance.
  • Liaise with team members to estimate and advise on equipment repair costs.
  • Ensure the van is fully equipped with spare parts at all times.
  • Maintain and update service records on systems and daily worksheets.
  • Adhere to company guidelines on Health & Safety at Work.
  • Represent the company and values of the business, portraying a professional and business-like image to all customers and other people you meet.

About You:

  • Relevant general maintenance qualification and proven experience in the plant rental sector.
  • Experience in plant, diesel engineering, auto electrics, hydraulics, and diagnostics/fault finding.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a good understanding of the importance of excellent customer service.
