Exciting Opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Travail Employment Group. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing new products and improving existing ones to meet client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the engineering manager and design team to design and develop new products
  • Undertake re-engineering and improvements on existing products to enhance their performance and efficiency
  • Manage design projects from concept to production, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results
  • Conduct research and development, costings, and after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Design and build prototypes to test and validate product designs
  • Produce quality and product documentation, including designs and drawings using SolidWorks
  • Perform analytical research, calculations, simulation, and testing to ensure product compliance with ISO and industry quality standards
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in Mechanical Design, preferably with SolidWorks
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and system integration
  • Ability to manage projects independently and work effectively in a team
  • Mechanical engineering degree or higher
  • Working knowledge of DFM & DFA practices
  • Confident knowledge of Electro-Mechanical design
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced design and development environment
