Exciting Opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Travail Employment Group Ltd. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative products and solutions for our global customers.

The Role:
  • Collaborate with the engineering manager and design team to design and develop new products that meet client specifications.
  • Undertake re-engineering and improvements on existing products to enhance their performance and efficiency.
  • Manage design projects from concept to production, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Conduct research and development, cost analysis, and after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Design and build prototypes, and produce relevant quality and product documentation.
  • Utilize SolidWorks to create designs and drawings, and perform analytical research, calculations, simulation, and testing.
  • Work to ISO and industry quality standards, ensuring compliance and excellence in all aspects of the design process.
The Person:
  • A proven background in Mechanical Design, with experience working with SolidWorks.
  • A confident understanding of manufacturing processes and system integration.
  • The ability to manage your own projects, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • A Mechanical engineering degree or higher, with a strong foundation in design principles and practices.
  • Working knowledge of DFM & DFA practices, and confident knowledge of Electro-Mechanical design.
  • The ability to work in a rapid design and development environment, adapting to changing requirements and priorities.
