The successful candidate will use clinical expertise to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life. This involves working on complex cases involving physical and mental health conditions and chronic pain disorders, while providing compassion and experience to customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

">
  • Conduct telephone, video or face-to-face assessments.
  • Produce Work Capability Assessment (WCA) reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine a person's eligibility for benefits.
  • Develop clinical knowledge and assessment skills with regular feedback and supervision.

Requirements

">
  • Valid NMC registration number required.
  • At least 1 year of broad post-registration adult or mental health experience needed.
  • The right to work in the UK is necessary - sponsorships are not offered.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills expected.
  • Comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports.
