Job Overview

Norse Group LTD is seeking a highly skilled Associate Structural Analysis Engineer to join our Exeter-based team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for driving and delivering works across the discipline, holding responsibility for the technical and commercial management of major projects.

About the Role

  • Complete planned work programmes and projects to timeframes and with budget.
  • Manage client needs, define project technical specifications, manage costs, fees, and commercial requirements, ensuring that projects are delivered to client satisfaction.
  • Assist the relevant director in managing engineering resources across the Structural Engineering team.
  • Support business development activity to enhance, grow, and diversify the engineering capabilities.
  • Implement best practice in the Structural Engineering team.
  • Lead major projects, ensuring they are delivered to specification.
  • Prepare designs, calculations, specifications, drawings, and carry out risk assessments for improvement, refurbishment, and new building schemes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a Structural Engineering-related discipline.
  • Professional membership of the Institute of Structural Engineers and working or prepared to work towards Chartered status.
  • Current site card or prepared to immediately attain.
  • Conversant with Health and Safety legislation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD.
  • Familiar with relevant construction, health, and safety legislation and risks and hazards associated with asbestos.

Norse Group LTD Offers

We offer a competitive salary of £48,000 - £58,000 (depending on experience), enrolment into our company pension and sickness scheme, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays).
