We are seeking a highly experienced Demolition Project Manager to join our team at Recruitment Services UK. Our client, City Demolition Contractors (Birmingham) Ltd, is looking for a professional with extensive experience in commercial, industrial, and inner city demolition projects.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in managing complex demolition projects, with a focus on ensuring project completion within budget and on time. Key responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Reporting directly to the Managing Director on a daily basis.
  2. Overseeing the execution of commercial, industrial, and inner city demolition projects.
  3. Acting as the primary point of contact from pre-start meetings with clients to completion and final site sign off.
  4. Onsite management responsibilities for demolition projects of varying sizes.
  5. Planning works, identifying and implementing works processes.
  6. Production of SSoW, including RAMS.
  7. Management of all site staff.
  8. Ensuring project completion with full time and budget understanding, along with programmes.
  9. Management of client expectations and requirements meetings.
  10. Liaising with site managers to ensure labour, plant, and resources are allocated efficiently.
  11. Ensuring all works are carried out to the highest health and safety standards.
Requirements:
  1. Civil, structural, mechanical engineering, or project management degree or equivalent.
  2. Minimum of 3 years Project Management experience in a demolition environment.
  3. Experience of managing large-scale, technical demolition projects.
  4. Experience in Project Planning, Cost Management, Quality Management, Safety Management.
  5. Extensive experience of demolition Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  6. Current SMSTS qualification.
  7. Relevant demolition qualifications, such as CCDO Black Card.

This is a geographical-based position covering the Midlands and expanding nationally. Living in and around Birmingham is preferable. We offer an excellent remuneration package tailored to each individual and job role.
