Job Summary:

The Association of Academic Museums & Galleries seeks a highly skilled and effective Director of Development to lead the organization's annual fundraising, membership, and stewardship programs. This is a key leadership role that will play a critical part in achieving the organization's financial goals and securing major gifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to achieve annual revenue targets
  • Build and maintain relationships with major donors and prospects
  • Lead a team of development professionals to achieve fundraising goals
  • Improve systems and processes to deepen engagement with members and donors
  • Embrace contemporary fundraising strategies to cultivate a more diverse and younger community

  • Proven track record of securing major gifts and achieving fundraising goals
