About the Role

BAM Nuttall is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team, responsible for strengthening our Supply Chain Management and Procurement function. The successful candidate will undertake procurement activities for civil engineering projects across Scotland, primarily in the energy infrastructure sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to support the company's sustainability goals and objectives.
  • Lead the procurement process for major infrastructure frameworks, including civils works, building construction, and mechanical and electrical related scope.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop procurement plans and ensure effective stakeholder management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct supply chain resource capacity analysis to support demand planning and drive business growth.
  • Develop and implement Category Management strategies to drive compliance and improve efficiency.
Requirements
  • Educated to a degree level in an Engineering, Commercial, or Business related discipline.
  • Preferably MCIPS Qualified.
  • Proven ability to lead whole life cycle procurement activities for major infrastructure frameworks.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to build, maintain, and influence relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  • Good awareness of supply chain vendors, including subcontract and materials procurement, and international sourcing opportunities.
