About the Role

BAM Nuttall is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team, responsible for strengthening our Supply Chain Management and Procurement function. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading whole life cycle procurement activities for major infrastructure frameworks, including civil engineering projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing Procurement Strategies and Procurement Plans in collaboration with key stakeholders, ensuring effective negotiations with the supply chain, and promoting a standardized Divisional approach to the procurement process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies and plans to support the company's objectives
  • Lead whole life cycle procurement activities for major infrastructure frameworks
  • Ensure effective negotiations with the supply chain
  • Promote a standardized Divisional approach to the procurement process
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Provide assurance support to the Tender Desk function
  • Support and enhance business initiatives, including digital technologies within the supply chain
  • Ensure financial resilience and health checks are undertaken within the supply chain
  • Lead the Supplier Engagement within the region
Requirements
  • Educated to a degree level in an Engineering, Commercial, or Business related discipline
  • Preferably MCIPS Qualified
  • Proven ability to lead whole life cycle procurement activities for major infrastructure frameworks
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to build, maintain, and influence relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Good awareness of supply chain vendors, including subcontract and materials procurement
  • Expertise in supply chain resource capacity analysis to support demand planning
