Salary
We offer a competitive salary package, with a grade range of 4-7 corresponding to £38,000 - £59,000 per annum. This compensation reflects our company's values of fairness and equity in recognizing employee contributions.
Job Description
This role involves delivering systems safety support to our business and clients, which includes:
- Providing safety input to bid, internal/external design review, and certification-related activities
- Guiding the safety programme requirements
- Collating evidence and deliverables to support product safety argument generation
- Hazard identification & control
- Detailed analyses of complex systems using fault tree methodology
- Production of safety case reports
- System level analyses, integrating multiple sub-system inputs
- Platform loss modelling, integrating multiple system level analyses
- Zonal safety assessments (ZSA)
- Common mode / cause analyses (CMA/CCA)
- Particular risk analyses (PRA)
Required Skills and Qualifications
Candidates should possess a degree in a related discipline and have experience in aerospace/military/defence related systems safety engineering principles, processes, and standards. Specific skills include:
- Aircraft certification (CS-23, -25)
- Landing gear (ATA-32), flight controls (ATA-27), fuel (ATA-28), power (ATA-24)
- Hazard Logs & analysis including: HAZID, HAZOP, FHA
- Analysis techniques such as: FTA, ETA, FMEA, FMES
- Production of safety documentation such as PSSA, SSA, PRA etc.
- ARP4754

- DO178B/DO254
- International standards e.g. IEC 61508, IEC 62368
- Working within a quality system environment, such as AS9100, ISO9001
