Aerospace Systems Development Lead

GKN Aerospace, a leading innovator in the aerospace industry, is seeking an experienced professional to lead our systems development efforts. Located in Bristol, UK, this role offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, including the development of liquid hydrogen-based electrical fuel cell propulsion systems.
Job Description- Lead the development and certification of complex engineering systems, ensuring safe test execution and meeting technical, schedule, and cost objectives.
- Manage engineering resources and equipment requirements, resolving resourcing conflicts and overseeing job appraisals and career development reviews for engineering staff.
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering or equivalent working experience.
- Extensive experience in managing complex engineering projects or acting as an engineering/functional team leader.
- Prior experience with powertrain development, working with external test facilities on hardware development programmes.
- Competitive salary: £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
- Opportunity to earn bonus.
- Hybrid working arrangement, allowing for balance between home and office working.
- Industry-leading pension scheme, matching employee contributions up to 8%.
