Accounts Assistant Role - Charity Sector
Circa £28,000 - Truro/Hybrid
We are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our client, a well-regarded charity based in Truro. As part of their financial team, you will play a key role in supporting the Financial Controller in maintaining the overall financial health of the organisation.

You will be responsible for managing the accounts payable/receivable function, preparing detailed management accounts, and controlling account and general bank reconciliations. This is a broad and interesting opportunity that would be well-suited to a candidate seeking to broaden their range of experience.

To succeed in this role, you will need a minimum of 12 months recently gained experience in a similar position and be qualified through vocational experience or AAT. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be working closely with colleagues across all areas of the organisation and external stakeholders.

Our client offers a generous hybrid arrangement, allowing you to work from home up to three days a week. They utilise Sage digital accounting platforms, and applicants with expertise gained with other systems are encouraged to apply.
