Are you a motivated and experienced Public Health Nurse looking for a new challenge? As a School Nurse with Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of local children and their families.

About the Role

You will lead a team of healthcare professionals in delivering The Lancaster Model, working closely with education providers to develop and implement health programmes. You will also contribute to the development of public health policy and strategy, providing clinical supervision and support to colleagues.

Main Responsibilities

RequirementsEssential Skills
  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality care
  • Excellent knowledge of public health principles
Desirable Skills
  • Experience of working in a corporate setting
  • Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Ability to develop and lead teams
Qualifications and Training
  • SCHNP qualification or equivalent
  • Registered nurse status

Estimated Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
