About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to support our Home Manager in day-to-day management and operations of our residential home for children. The successful candidate will maintain a compliant, safe, and homely environment, supporting children to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Home Manager in operational management and compliance.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to staff.
- Contribute to recruitment, training, and development of staff.
- Act as a role model and mentor to staff.
- Level 3 in Children's Residential Childcare Qualification (or equivalent).
- Either hold or be committed to completing Level 5 diploma in Leadership and Management.
- Minimum two years' experience working in social care.
- Experience leading and motivating a staff team.
- Knowledge of legislation and Ofsted requirements.
- Competitive salary up to £43,908.80 per annum based on average 40 hours per week.
