About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to support our Home Manager in day-to-day management and operations of our residential home for children. The successful candidate will maintain a compliant, safe, and homely environment, supporting children to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Home Manager in operational management and compliance.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to staff.
  • Contribute to recruitment, training, and development of staff.
  • Act as a role model and mentor to staff.
Requirements
  • Level 3 in Children's Residential Childcare Qualification (or equivalent).
  • Either hold or be committed to completing Level 5 diploma in Leadership and Management.
  • Minimum two years' experience working in social care.
  • Experience leading and motivating a staff team.
  • Knowledge of legislation and Ofsted requirements.
