Executive Kitchen Manager

We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our team at The Crown, a premium pub with a passion for delivering exceptional food and service.
About the Role:
- As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards, managing stock, and inspiring team development.
- You will work closely with the Head Chef to achieve high food and service standards, ensuring that every dish meets our expectations.
- We are looking for someone who is able to motivate and support team development, while also understanding and complying with all regulations, food hygiene, and company specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with the team to develop strong working relationships and maintain a positive kitchen environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, ensuring food safety and health and safety policies are in place.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to achieve high food and service standards, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff training.
- Manage stock, GPs, and inspire team development to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
- Understand and comply with all regulations, food hygiene, and company specifications to ensure we maintain our high standards.
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role in a large, fresh food focused pub or restaurant, preferably with a proven track record of success.
- A strong understanding of GPs and stock management, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- The ability to motivate and support team development, with a focus on improving employee engagement and retention.
- A competent understanding of all regulations, food hygiene, and company specifications, with the ability to implement and maintain high standards.
