Senior SEND Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our team as a Senior SEND Specialist. This is a locum, 6-month contract opportunity that will provide you with the chance to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Designated Social Care Officer in their daily tasks
- Develop and implement training programs for staff members
- Collaborate with parents, carers, children, and young people to co-produce services
- Contribute to the development of Social care/SEND services
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant frontline experience in Children's Social Services within the UK working as a qualified Social Worker
- Strong background in Safeguarding and Children with Disabilities
- Desirable: experience of supervising others
