About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Ecologist Consultant to join our team at Locogen, a multidisciplinary renewable energy company. As a key member of our Environment Team, you will be responsible for delivering ecological and ornithological services for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage ecological and ornithological projects, including reviewing and analyzing datasets, drafting reports, and liaising with clients and stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement ecological impact assessments, collision risk modeling, and habitat regulations assessments for renewable energy projects.
  • Collaborate with our team to provide ecological and environmental services, including environmental impact assessments and ecological impact assessments.
  • Manage a team of sub-contractor surveyors and ensure the safe working procedures on our sites.
Requirements
  • Experience in ecology and ornithology, with a strong understanding of environmental impact assessment regulations.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in GIS software, particularly QGIS and CAD, and experience with bat assessment and call analysis.
