About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated dental officer to join our Special Care/Paediatric Dental Service in Gloucestershire. As a key member of our team, you will provide comprehensive clinical care to adult and paediatric patients who require special dental care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide routine clinical care for patients with additional needs, including treatment under inhalation and IV sedation, as well as general anaesthesia.
  • Work closely with a team of dental therapists and senior clinicians to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in clinical audit and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.
  • Commit to continuing professional development and stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and best practices.

Person Specification

We are looking for a dental officer who possesses excellent clinical skills, a commitment to continuing professional development, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. If you have a BDS or equivalent qualification, full GDC registration, and experience of providing dental care to patients with additional needs, we would love to hear from you.
