About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated dental officer to join our Special Care/Paediatric Dental Service in Gloucestershire. As a key member of our team, you will provide comprehensive clinical care to adult and paediatric patients who require special dental care.

Main Responsibilities

The post holder will be expected to provide routine clinical care for patients who require special dental care, including the use of different modalities such as inhalation sedation, general anaesthetic, local anaesthetic, behaviour modification and treatment which may need to be carried out in different locations such as domiciliary and hospital settings.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a BDS or equivalent qualification, full GDC registration and performer number, and completion of vocational training or equivalent. You will also need to have excellent clinical skills, understanding and evidence of participation in clinical audit, and commitment to continuing professional development.
