Kitchen Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team at PJ Care Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of food quality and service for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals for our residents.
  2. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
  3. Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety.
  4. Work effectively as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.

Working Hours:

The hours of work are 7-7, working 7 out of 14 days every 2 weeks on a rolling rota. You will be part of a team that caters for 105 residents, providing 3 meals a day, as well as baking and decorating cakes daily.
