About the Role

We are seeking experienced and calm Support Workers to join our friendly team at Choice Support. As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred care and support with personal care, community activities, and planning alongside members of the person's circle of support to enable individuals to be happy, healthy, and successful in achieving their wishes and aspirations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver excellent care and support to individuals with learning disabilities
  • Assist with personal care, meal preparation, exercise, leisure activities, and socialising
  • Support individuals to develop independent living skills and achieve their goals
  • Work collaboratively with the wider community and other professionals to provide a holistic approach to care
  • Be flexible and willing to do sleep-in shifts
Requirements
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Good communication skills, particularly with non-verbal individuals
  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and willingness to do sleep-in shifts
