About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Voyage Care. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex mental health needs, and challenging behaviors.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Encourage individuals to access their local communities, engage in social activities, and participate in leisure pursuits.
  • Work collaboratively with the support team to develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support plans.
  • Contribute to a dynamic and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and understanding.

What We Offer

  • A competitive hourly rate of £11.45.
  • Enhanced evening and weekend pay at an additional 50p per hour.
  • Premium overtime rates at an additional £1 per hour.

Requirements

  • Resilience, flexibility, and a composed approach to working with individuals with complex needs.
