Private Equity Coverage Senior Manager/ Assistant Director

About this role
As a Strategic Relationship Manager, you will develop and maintain long-term commercial relationships with financial sponsors, including Private Equity firms, to create competitive advantage and drive sustainable, responsible, and profitable revenue growth.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, institutionalise, lead and manage long-term commercial relationships with financial sponsors
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and fee growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior managers, directors, and partners within the firm
- Collaborate with other teams to deliver value-led advice and outcomes to clients
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity
Requirements
- A good understanding of how Private Equity managers operate and think
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent), or relevant work experience in a coverage role or transactional role
- An existing network and relationships with decision-makers at Private Equity houses in the mid and upper-mid market
- A solution-oriented mindset and client-centric approach
- Strong communication, listening, influencing, and interpersonal skills across organisational levels
- Ability to build rapport and relationships in line with BDO values
- Strong business/commercial acumen with the ability to measure and report on success
