About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our primary school team in Bath. As a key member of the support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the academic and personal success of our students with SEN.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide individualized support to students with SEN, adapting activities to meet their unique needs
  • To work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective learning plans
  • To maintain accurate records of student progress and contribute to regular reviews and updates
  • To support students during lessons, activities, and outings, both in and out of the classroom

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject (e.g., Education, Psychology, Child Development)
  • Experience of working with children with SEN, preferably in a primary school setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work discreetly with sensitive information

Salary: £22,500 - £24,500 pa

Hours: Full-time (8:30am - 3:15pm, Mon-Fri)

Location: Primary School, Bath
