Housing Management Coordinator Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Housing Management Coordinator to join our team at Home Group Limited. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our housing management services.
Key Responsibilities:- Supporting individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, providing them with the necessary assistance to secure a safe and stable living environment.
- Managing tenancy agreements, ensuring that properties are well-maintained and that tenants are aware of their responsibilities.
- Coordinating with external partners to provide support services to our customers, including benefit claims and housing benefit administration.
- Issuing warning letters and notices as necessary, and attending court proceedings when required.
- Turning around vacant or void properties within set timescales to ensure maximum occupancy.
- Ensuring that our properties meet health and safety standards and that maintenance is carried out to a high standard.
- Experience in managing a housing management caseload and overseeing landlord and housing management duties.
- Knowledge of re-letting properties, collecting rents, and taking formal tenancy action when necessary.
- Able to take on a lead role within the team, offering guidance and support to colleagues.
- The ability to work independently, positively influencing people from diverse backgrounds.
- A proactive and organized approach, with a can-do attitude.
- Confident in working collaboratively with colleagues and external partners.
