About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust as a Configuration Lead for the Radiology Ordercomms Project. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for configuring and testing the ICE system, ensuring seamless integration with the CRIS Radiology Information System.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and test the ICE system, ensuring alignment with clinical pathways and NHS standards.
  • Collaborate with Radiology Management, modality, and clinical leads to discuss design and configuration issues.
  • Meet regularly with PACS leads to discuss testing of the system and identify any inconsistencies.
  • Document all configuration changes and present to clinical leads and heads of department for evaluation and discussion.
  • Engage with technical leads from other trusts across the project and discuss testing outcomes with ICE, CRIS, and trust developers.
Requirements
  • Good standard of education, demonstrating literacy and numeracy.
  • Experience of working in a Radiology department.
  • Healthcare or IT degree level qualification.
  • Knowledge of clinical pathways within the NHS environment.
Desirable Criteria
  • Previous Radiology Ordercomms experience.
  • Experience managing teams.
  • Experience configuring and testing IT applications.
  • Good understanding of HL7 messaging standards.
Skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft programmes, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff of all levels.
  • Able to present new information to senior colleagues.
