Job Summary:

The Clinical Nurse Lead is a key role within Care for Veterans, responsible for driving nursing and healthcare standards to meet the expectations and aspirations of our clinical professions. This position requires a strong leader who can identify training needs across clinical and multi-disciplinary teams, and develop relevant training opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of our staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and address training needs across clinical and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of staff
  • Drive nursing and healthcare standards to meet the expectations and aspirations of our clinical professions
  • Collaborate with the Chief Nurse to provide operational oversight of the wings
  • Translate training into language suitable for non-clinical staff in areas where they and the people we serve will benefit

Requirements:

  • 2 years of management experience
  • NMC registration
