Ambulance Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Ambulance Care Assistant to join our team at EMED Group. As a key member of our patient transport team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users.
Key Responsibilities:- Transport elderly, sick, and vulnerable service users to and from medical appointments and between healthcare facilities.
- Assist with the handling of patients, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
- Build rapport with patients and their relatives/friends, providing effective communication and empathy.
- Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the ambulance.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless patient care and transportation.
- Committed to patient care and well-being.
- Effective communicator with experience in emotional situations.
- Calm, considerate, and careful driver with a valid UK driving license.
- Natural flair for team working and collaboration.
- Physically fit for patient handling and moving.
- Pass an Enhanced DBS check.
- Ability to work flexible shifts.
