We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Project Coordinator to join our team at Andy File Associates Limited. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing technical delivery and governance to various projects, ensuring effective and efficient project lifecycle management.

Salary: £35,000 - £42,500 per annum (plus bonus)

Your primary responsibilities will include planning, overseeing, and delivering projects to meet customer expectations. You will work closely with the Service Desk Manager and Strategic Account Managers to keep them informed about all live projects. Your ability to identify smarter ways of working and improve efficiency will be valuable assets to the company. Strong communication, organisation, and relationship-building skills are necessary to excel in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Plan and oversee projects to ensure timely completion and high-quality deliverables.
  • Client Communication: Maintain regular, clear, and consistent communication with clients at all levels within the organisation.
  • Project Governance: Ensure effective project governance by implementing best practices and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with Project Support Engineers and other stakeholders to deliver technical projects and improve skills.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance project management practices.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Proactively manage customer relationships to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Data Analysis: Provide monthly project pipeline/utilisation data to support business decisions.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience as a project engineer or manager is essential.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Virtual environments including VMWare, SQL Server, entire Microsoft stack, Networking LAN, WAN, VPN, Wireless, Active Directory, Antivirus, and Microsoft Azure IaaS.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • Workload Management: Ability to manage a diverse workload and work calmly under pressure with an organised and methodical approach to tasks.
  • IT Background: Relevant experience of working in an IT setting.
  • Teamwork: Exceptional team working skills.
  • Qualifications: A recognised qualification in project/programme management such as Prince 2 or APM is desirable but not essential.
  • Innovative Approach: The ability and desire to develop the role and make it your own.
  • Visionary: Committed to achieving the clients' vision.

The Role:

  • Flexibility: The role can be worked in a hybrid capacity with visits to clients.
  • Driving Licence: A UK driving licence is required.
  • Company Vehicle: A company car or pool car may be provided depending on mileage covered within the role but is unconfirmed right now.
