About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our team in the sales of high-quality plumbing and heating valves and fitting products.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in field sales, specifically in the plumbing and heating sector, with experience selling to contractors, including M&E contractors, main contractors, and sub-contractors.

The ideal candidate will also have sold to independent plumbers' merchants, such as Smith Brothers Store, Ashworths & TG Lynes, and will be familiar with the UK market.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and ambitious sales professional to join a leading construction sales recruitment consultancy, Mitchell Maguire, and contribute to the growth of their clients' businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Selling a high-quality manufactured range of plumbing and heating valves and fitting products
  • Stimulating demand and selling to M&E contractors, main contractors, and sub-contractors (95% of time)
  • Working closely with the client's existing sales team to identify new business opportunities
  • Building strong relationships with key decision-makers in the industry

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in field sales, specifically in the plumbing and heating sector
  • Experience selling to contractors, including M&E contractors, main contractors, and sub-contractors
  • Familiarity with the UK market and current industry trends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary ranging from £50,000 to £55,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • A 29% quarterly bonus scheme

Salary: £52,500 pa + 29% quarterly bonus
