Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Product Development Technologist to join our NPD team at Pilgrims Europe. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to drive innovation and growth within the company, working closely with cross-functional teams to develop new products and improve existing ones.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the product development process, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing product strategies that drive business growth and innovation.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and develop new products that meet customer needs and exceed expectations.
  • Liaising with suppliers and external partners to source high-quality ingredients and materials.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Providing technical support and training to production staff to ensure seamless product launches.
  • Maintaining accurate records of product development activity and performance metrics.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Food Science or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in product development or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £45,000-£55,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including:
