Environmental Consultant Opportunity

SOCOTEC UK Limited is seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant to join our Environment and Safety Division. As a key player in the industry, we provide a comprehensive range of environmental monitoring and consultancy services to help companies comply with environmental regulations. Our expert field teams offer national coverage and tailored services, including site investigation, sampling and analysis, monitoring, interpretation, and consultancy. Our qualified and highly talented field consultants provide environmental analysis, environmental monitoring, and consultancy services to assist clients in complying with legislation.

We're looking for an Environmental Consultant to work on contaminated land and waste and environmental management projects across various sectors. Typical activities for the role include:

  • soil and water sampling
  • supervision of ground investigation and remediation
  • environmental monitoring
  • factual and interpretative reporting across a range of technical disciplines

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

a relevant scientific or environmental degreea full current UK driving licencegood communication skills and a strong customer-focussed engagement stylegood data handling skills and strong attention to detailgood commercial awarenessexcellent IT skills, including MS Office applicationswillingness to travel across the UK and stay away from home for project work
