Environmental Consultant Role

SOCOTEC UK Limited is seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant to join our Environment and Safety Division. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert environmental monitoring and consultancy services to help companies comply with environmental regulations. Our comprehensive range of services includes site investigation, sampling and analysis, monitoring, interpretation and consultancy. You will work closely with our expert field teams to deliver tailored services to clients across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct soil and water sampling
  • Supervise ground investigation and remediation
  • Perform environmental monitoring
  • Prepare factual and interpretative reports

Requirements

  • Relevant scientific or environmental degree
  • Full current UK driving licence
  • Excellent communication and customer engagement skills
  • Strong data handling and attention to detail
  • Good commercial awareness
  • Excellent IT skills, including MS Office applications
  • Willingness to travel across the UK and stay away from home for project work
