About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) specialist to join our team in the UK. As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in coordinating statutory EIA and non-statutory environmental assessment processes for major development proposals in the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scoping and coordination of environmental baseline data collection, interpretation of data, and provision of advice on environmental and sustainability constraints and opportunities for development.
  • Developing trusted advisor relationships with Ramboll colleagues, supply chain partners, and clients.
  • Advanced report writing skills, ability to provide efficient peer review, and coordination of management of spatial data for the preparation of figures.
  • Support for and/or leadership of key technical and commercial aspects of project delivery.
  • Advisory skills in relation to preparing materials for stakeholder meetings and public consultations and participation in public consultation.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in environmental sciences, environmental engineering, or a related environmental discipline. A Master's degree in an environmental discipline is advantageous. Prior EIA coordination experience on complex projects, particularly in the energy sector, is highly desirable.

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are essential for this role. You will be part of a dynamic team that values collaboration, innovation, and sustainability.
