We are seeking a dedicated Linguistics Graduate to join a vibrant primary school in Tower Hamlets. This role is ideal for graduates who are excited to contribute to children's development, particularly those with speech and language challenges or other Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Job Summary
  • A full-time term time only Linguistics Graduate role with a long-term contract until July 2025.
  • The position offers a competitive salary of £20,800 - £25,600 per annum, paid weekly on a PAYE basis (£400-£500 per week).
  • Experience supporting children with SEN is desirable but not essential.
  • Applicants must possess a First-Class or 2:1 Linguistics-related degree from a Top 20 UK university.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to supporting learners are essential for this role.

This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring Speech and Language Therapists looking to gain hands-on experience in a school setting.

About the Role
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN, focusing on speech, language, and communication needs.
  • Assist in creating and delivering engaging, language-focused activities to help students build their communication skills.
  • Work in the SEN department under the supervision of the SENDCo and Speech and Language Therapist.
  • Receive mentorship from experienced teachers and opportunities for professional development.
