Senior Clinical Psychologist – Leadership and Supervision Role

Job DescriptionThis exciting opportunity is for a Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our South Bedfordshire Adult Community Mental Health Services network. As a leader and supervisor, you will provide strategic input into the development and delivery of mental health services, working closely with teams and senior clinicians to ensure high-quality care and support for individuals with complex mental health needs.
The main duties of this role include:
- Providing senior clinical and supervision input into the Community Mental Health Teams
- Working closely with team managers and senior clinicians to develop and implement service improvement initiatives
- Serving as a leader and mentor to junior psychologists and therapists, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and knowledge
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Post-Graduate Doctoral level qualification in Clinical Psychology or equivalent, accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS)
- Doctoral level knowledge of research methodology, research design, and complex multivariate data analysis
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Experience of working as a qualified Clinical Psychologist, including substantial post-qualification experience within speciality
- Experience of working with teams and team leads to provide specialist psychological consultation, advice, and support
