Job Title: Finance Business Partner

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Chester (Hybrid 3 days in)

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 plus excellent staff discount, 25 days holiday, pension, career development, perks and benefits

About the Role:

  • Provide financial and commercial insights to educate the business and support informed decision-making.
  • Analyse performance to identify improvements and effectively communicate insights.
  • Align the data strategy with business goals and manage the budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Monitor cash flow, provide financial projections, and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Work closely with the data community to ensure the data strategy is in sync with the overall strategic vision of the business.
  • Support stakeholders in understanding the business's performance metrics and trends.
  • Partner with the finance team to support and challenge budget holders, ensuring financial accountability and efficiency.
  • Provide ad hoc financial projections for various projects and investments.
  • Manage the creation and distribution of business reports, including financial performance, sales, marketing, and key performance indicators.
  • Ensure the continued accuracy of data and reports.
  • Provide clear visibility and communication of performance against budgets and prior periods.
  • Analyse business performance and key indicators to identify improvement areas.

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, or ACCA)
  • Confident in asking questions and challenging business performance and processes
  • Advanced IT skills, particularly in Excel
