Job Title: Battery Build Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Battery Build Technician to join our team at Evera Recruitment Ltd. As a Battery Build Technician, you will be responsible for the preparation, build, arming, and safety testing of battery packs of up to 500V DC for electric vehicle powertrain kits and bespoke builds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble complete battery packs, including installing all wiring harnesses, mechanical enclosures, and fixings.
  • Liaise with the production manager to deliver products to the agreed schedule.
  • Maintain accurate build records.
  • Conduct safety checks and testing of battery packs.
  • Assemble subcomponents and sub-assemblies.

Requirements:

  • Electrical and mechanical technical knowledge and ability.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering and electrical drawings.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Organisation skills, precision, and a pragmatic approach to working.
  • Previous certification to HV SAP/AP level or IMI EV level 3.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams, etc.).
