Liberty Global seeks a strategic Insurance Director to spearhead our comprehensive insurance strategy across all current and emerging insurable risks within Property and Casualty.

As the Insurance Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Liberty Global's risk management framework and optimizing our insurance portfolio.

  • Develop and Execute Insurance Strategy: Craft Liberty Global's overarching insurance strategy, encompassing all insurable risks across Property and Casualty lines. This includes identifying emerging risks and developing proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Risk Financing Expertise: Define the optimal risk financing strategy for Liberty Global, considering various options such as OpCo-specific programs, captive insurance, pooling arrangements, and market placements. Evaluate the role of our captive insurance company within this framework.
  • Program Management & Oversight: Lead all Group insurance programs and collaborate with OpCos to ensure effective delivery of local insurance initiatives.
  • Captive Insurance Leadership: Oversee the operational management of our Captive Insurance Company, ensuring its efficient functioning and alignment with Liberty Global's overall risk strategy.
  • Federation Services: Provide insurance services to LG Partner and Venture Markets as required, extending our expertise across the broader Liberty Global ecosystem.
  • Claims Management & Optimization: Develop and implement effective claims management processes in collaboration with local OpCos, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of claims.
  • Ancillary Insurance Opportunities: Identify and develop new ancillary insurance opportunities to enhance revenue streams and provide value-added services to our customers (e.g., handset insurance, insurance marketing).
