Care Assistant

In this rewarding role as a Care Assistant at HC-One, you will be valued for your kindness and empathy towards our residents. We provide Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care in our homes, and every member of our team understands that our residents are individuals with their own unique stories to tell.
This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of others while developing your skills and experience. As a Care Assistant under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you will take responsibility for the physical and emotional well-being and social needs of our residents. This includes assisting residents with personal care activities such as washing, dressing, and helping with meals.
We believe that delivering care from the heart is essential. It's about respecting our residents' dignity and individuality as you engage in general activities within the care home. Whether you're helping someone with limited mobility learn to use an aid or offering emotional support to a confused or distressed resident, you'll always have their well-being in mind.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility, and we expect all colleagues to be able to recognize the signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond if there are any concerns. Our training programs help you develop the skills and knowledge you need to excel in this role.
About HC-One
We value kindness above all else and strive to create an environment where our residents can thrive. At HC-One, we understand that caring for people means caring about what matters most to them, so we support them to lead their best possible life.
To provide the kindest possible care, we look for five qualities in every member of our team: curiosity, compassion, creativity, courage, and commitment. These qualities guide our approach to care and ensure that we deliver outstanding support to our residents.
We champion inclusivity and diversity, fostering a workplace where everyone feels valued and respected. Our diverse team allows us to learn from each other and better serve the communities we operate in.
We invest in our colleagues' growth and development through robust career pathways, continuing professional development (CPD), and postgraduate programs. You will enjoy access to a range of benefits and services to support your well-being, including:
- A competitive hourly rate of £9-£11 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
