Achieve excellence in manufacturing with our Paint Shop team at MINI Plant Oxford.

We are seeking two confident and eager to learn students to join us within the Paint Shop at MINI Plant Oxford. Our team has the responsibility of ensuring the manufacturing process, products, and programmes are developed, defined, and adhered to.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will support and develop innovation and digitalisation opportunities throughout the Paint Shop. You will lead projects to drive continuous improvement, focusing on improving and stabilising the performance of automated areas.

You will also steer a systematic and sustainable approach to root cause analysis and troubleshooting within robotics and automated material application. Additionally, you will develop and implement training that will identify and resolve quality and throughput issues.

Requirements:

  • Studying towards a Bachelor's or integrated Master's degree and on track to achieve a 2:1 or above in an Engineering-based course.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc).
  • Experience in PowerBI is desirable, but not compulsory.
  • Self-motivated and organised, able to prioritise, use your initiative, and manage time effectively.
