Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Content Producer to join our team at Global Radio. As a Content Producer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and entertaining music radio content that resonates with our target audience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, craft, and deliver high-quality music radio content that meets the brand's standards.
  • Coordinate and deliver industry-leading content for on-air shows, including music news, topical talking points, and a sense of the day.
  • Produce captivating interviews with top artists, including homegrown talent, and create engaging content for our digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with presenters, digital, and programming teams to research, prepare, edit, and broadcast in-studio interviews for both on-air and digital platforms.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the music industry, including the latest trends and developments.
  • Work closely with the Branded Content Team to devise and execute dynamic on-air campaigns and competitions.
Requirements
  • Excellent knowledge of music radio, including the latest from top artists and lifestyle, music, and entertainment news.
  • Deep passion for music and extensive knowledge of all genres in our playlist, including Hip Hop, RnB, Reggae, UK Rap, and Afrobeats.
  • Confidence in using workflows and following production processes necessary to complete tasks.
  • Ability to manage strong personalities and handle the pressure of working with top talent.
  • Pride in creativity, with a wealth of ideas and the ability to inspire others.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with management, presenters, teammates, record labels, and artist teams.
  • Attention to detail to ensure consistently high-quality work.
  • Knowledge of commercial radio practices and UK media law.
  • Experience with Zetta and G Selector is an advantage but not essential.
