SEN Teaching Assistant

Zen Educate is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our client school in Exeter. As a key member of the teaching team, you will play a vital role in supporting children with severe needs, aged 3-19, to achieve their full potential.
With a strong focus on creativity, skill, and passion, our client school offers a unique learning environment that fosters personal growth and development. The school's bespoke curriculum and wrap-around support services provide pupils with the necessary tools to succeed.
To be successful in this role, you will require a minimum of 2 years' experience working with children in an SEN capacity. A nurturing and caring approach, combined with effective communication and leadership skills, is essential. Experience in non-verbal communication methods, such as Makaton or PECS, is also desirable.
As a valued member of our team, you can expect:
- A competitive daily rate of approximately £90, negotiable based on experience
- A stable schedule with set hours of 8:30am-4pm
