Job Title: Lead Clinical Pharmacist - Oncology & Haematology Services

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Clinical Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy Team at the London Bridge Hospital, a leading provider of private healthcare in the UK.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the Pharmacy service at Guy's, including dispensary services, aseptic production, inpatient and outpatient services for oncology, haematology and surgical services.

As a key member of the Pharmacy Senior Management Team, you will help develop and contribute towards the department objectives and assist with operational and governance matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients on the Haematology/Oncology Ward, including reviewing patients in the chemotherapy day unit and providing a clinical pharmacy service.
  • Line manage members of the Pharmacy team and work with other multidisciplinary team colleagues in quality/process improvement project groups.
  • Represent the pharmacy within the hospital campus, corporately and externally.
Requirements:
  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Postgraduate diploma/masters in clinical pharmacy or equivalent
  • Specialist knowledge in oncology, aseptic production and haematology is essential
  • Extensive experience in the above areas
  • Experience working within a hospital setting
  • Previous management experience is essential
