Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team at Thames Water. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out scheduled, planned, and reactive maintenance work on various wastewater residential assets and industrial electrical machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out maintenance work on electrical equipment, including pumps, control gear, motors, and electronic control systems.
  • Investigate plant failures and carry out repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Provide technical advice and support to colleagues and customers.
  • Participate in a standby rota and be available for emergency call-outs.
Requirements
  • 18th Edition electrical City and Guilds certification is essential.
  • Experience in electrical systems, maintenance, and repair is required.
  • Knowledge of health and safety issues relevant to the industry is beneficial.
  • Physical fitness and ability to work in confined spaces are essential.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary up to £35,000 per annum.
  • 24 days holiday per year increasing to 28 with length of service.
