About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager to join our team at esure Group. As a key member of our Compliance and Risk Management function, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our business operations are in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Financial Crime Management: Coordinate anti-money laundering, financial sanctions, and terrorist financing controls to maintain a robust control environment.
  • Compliance Expertise: Advise senior leaders on control environments to ensure compliance with regulations, and interpret and communicate new regulatory requirements to senior management.
  • Risk Management: Provide compliance input to business transformation initiatives, ensure preparedness for regulatory changes, and offer analysis on regulatory and risk developments.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain regulatory requirements, including the Senior Managers & Certification Regime, and work closely with the Risk & Compliance team for knowledge sharing.
  • Culture and Training: Assist in embedding a customer-focused compliance culture, review and develop LMS training to meet regulatory standards, and support the development of compliance-related policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar compliance/audit role within Financial Services, ideally in Insurance.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of the UK Regulatory environment and relevant legislation.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and report writing skills, with the ability to review procedures, communicate findings, and influence senior management to ensure compliance.
